Tutorial How To Root Xiaomi Mi4c And Install TWRP Recovery

The latest news comes from one of the rulers that Xiaomi smartphone industry. Android smartphone that the company succeeded in displacing Samsung and Apple in China is reportedly ready to release a new device titled Xiaomi Mi 4c. Leaked specs, Xiaomi Mi 4c revealed through information released from Chinese telecom certification body (Tenna) showing the actual design of Mi 4c. According to our information reports, Xiaomi Mi 4c Android phone will be powered by Snapdragon processor 808 that had previously been tried and tested quality on the LG G4. Preparing tools:

  • Download Xiaomi USB drivers [

  • Download Mi4c-root-tool , TWRP 2.8.7.0 and ADB and Fastboot  [
    Download
    ]
  • Download SuperSU.zip [
    Download
    ]
How To Root Xiaomi Mi4c:

  1. Install Xiaomi USB drivers on your computer
  2. extract Mi4c-root-tool containing TWRP 2.8.7.0 and ADB and Fastboot on your computer
  3. SuperSU.zip and transfer to your Internal Storage phone  (excluding folders only)
  4. Enable USB Debugging mode, go to Settings> About Phone> MIUI version / Build number (click to 7 times) and then back to Settings> Developer Options> USB Debugging (tick to enable)
  5. Then boot into Fastboot mode, how to press and hold the Volume Down and Power button simultaneously to enter Fastboot mode
  6. Now, connect Xiaomi Mi4C to your computer using a USB cable (make sure your Xiaomi are really connected to the computer and the USB driver is installed correctly)
  7. On your computer, go to the folder Mi4c-root-tool, then press the "Shift" key and Right Click, then select "Open command_window here" 
  8. Once the Command Prompt window appears, type the command fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and press ENTER
  9. After TWRP successfully installed ,type the command fastboot reboot  
  10. Now, go into recovery mode, how to press and hold the Volume Up and Power button simultaneously (make sure your phone is turned off to go into recovery mode)
  11. Once you get into TWRP recovey Mode, now select Install, navigate to and select file SuperSU.zip in Internal Storage
  12. If there Swipe to comfirm Flash did (from left to right)
  13. After the flashing is complete, then select Reboot System
  14. Now, you will find SuperSU icon in your app menu. 
  15. Optional: If you want to verify whether your Xiaomi Already Rooted or not, you can install applications Root Checker
